Early Career

After wrestling in high school, Amy found combat sports in an MMA gym in Tallahassee, Florida.

For the next six months, she competed in grappling tournaments and trained for an MMA fight which never materialized.

That's when she sold her car, quit her stable job at an environmental agency in Tallahassee, and moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Amy trained and fought in Chiang Mai and the surrounding areas for nearly 7 months in 2016. She had her first five fights among the competitive female fighters in Northern Thailand, going 4-1.

Move to New York

A year after returning from Thailand, Amy and her partner moved to New York City to chase big fights and world-class training.

A short time after arriving and training at several gyms in the city, Amy landed at The Wat, training under Phil Nurse.

Championship Titles

Her first championship was in July of 2018, nearly 7 months after arriving in NYC.

She won the first-ever women's WBC Muaythai National US Amateur Super Flyweight Title at 115lbs.
